Butter: Cream to Creamy

Schedule to be led by Kayler & Abby

Students will make their own butter by hand. They'll discover how a simple physical action—shaking a jar—can transform liquid cream into a solid. While they shake, we'll discuss the properties of fat molecules and how agitation causes them to clump together.
Students will enjoy homemade butter on crackers. This experience provides a tangible connection between agriculture, food science, and the finished product on their plate.
