Every October, the Ellis County Farm Bureau hosts its annual Kids Ag Day, a truly special event designed to educate all Ellis County 4th-grade students about the world of agriculture. Held at the family-friendly Pa's Pumpkin Patch, this all-day experience brings together local experts who share their knowledge on a wide range of topics, including soil health, animal safety, water conservation, and the science behind wheat, corn, and dairy cows. We also showcase the latest technology that is shaping the future of farming. We are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated community of volunteers, including Carico Implement, Hays FFA, Victoria FFA, TMP FFA, K-State Extension, Southwest Dairy, and many more, who make this valuable event possible each year.
